What it is
Same-day freight exists for the situations where the cost of waiting is higher than the cost of a vehicle: a production line stopped for a part, a contract that needs a signed original, stock that has to be on a shelf before opening, equipment that a crew on site cannot work without. The request usually arrives by phone or a hurried form, and the answer has to be quick and honest.
When you contact us we check where the nearest suitable vehicle is, tell you the earliest realistic collection time and an expected delivery time, and give you the price. If we cannot do it in the time you need, we say so immediately so you can look elsewhere without losing minutes.
The vehicle is dedicated to your consignment: collected, driven direct and delivered, with no depots or other drops in between. The driver carries out a condition check at collection, keeps you updated if traffic changes the picture, and obtains a signature on delivery.
We handle same-day work from envelopes to pallets, within London and along the main corridors out of it. Vehicle sizes from small van to 7.5-tonne truck mean the price reflects the load rather than a one-size rate.

How quickly can a vehicle be with me?
It depends on where the nearest suitable vehicle is when you contact us. We will give you a realistic time rather than an optimistic one, and we will not take the job if we cannot do it.
Do you deliver outside London the same day?
Yes, along the main corridors and beyond, subject to the time of day the goods are ready and the distance involved. Longer runs late in the day may become early next morning; we will tell you which.
Is the vehicle shared with other deliveries?
No. Same-day consignments travel alone on a dedicated vehicle, collected and delivered direct.
Can you deliver at night or at the weekend?
Yes, subject to availability, and it is priced for what it costs to provide. Tell us the window and we will confirm.
Will I get proof of delivery?
Yes. A signature and time on delivery, with a condition note, sent to you on request.
