Every service, explained before you book it

Two groups: removals for homes and workplaces, freight for goods. Each page tells you what the service is, who it suits, what changes the price and what we need from you.

Removals

Homes, flats, offices and single items, locally and across the UK.

Removals

Home removals

A full house move: your furniture, boxes and appliances loaded, protected, driven and set down in the rooms you tell us, anywhere in the UK.

A home removal is the most involved thing we do. It is not one job but a series of them: understanding what you own, working out how it fits into a vehicle, protecting it on the way out of one property and on the way into another, and doing all of that on a date that is usually fixed by a solicitor or a landlord rather than by you.

  • Houses and larger flats where the whole contents are moving in one go
  • Moves with a fixed completion date and a tight handover window
  • Long-distance moves out of London where you want one crew end to end

Removals

Flat and apartment moves

Moves in and out of flats, maisonettes and apartment blocks, where access shapes the job as much as the contents do.

Moving a flat is rarely about how much you own. A one-bedroom flat on the fourth floor with a small lift and a loading bay two streets away is a longer, harder day than a two-bedroom house with a drive, and pricing it as if it were the same leads to the wrong vehicle, the wrong crew and a bad afternoon for everybody.

  • Studio, one- and two-bedroom flats and maisonettes
  • Buildings with a concierge, booked lift slots or access rules
  • Upper floors with no lift where the carry decides the crew size

Removals

Office and commercial removals

Relocation of offices, workshops and commercial premises: desks, IT, filing, stock and fittings moved to a plan, usually outside your working hours.

A commercial move is judged on one thing: whether people can sit down and work at the new address when they expected to. Everything we do is organised around that, from the sequence in which floors are cleared to the way crates are labelled so that a person, not a job number, knows where their things are.

  • Offices from a handful of desks to whole floors
  • Moves that must happen out of hours or over a weekend
  • Businesses that need crate hire, labelling and a floor plan for delivery

Removals

Man and van

A van and a driver, with a second person when the items need it, for small moves, single rooms, collections and deliveries in and around East London.

Not every move needs a removals crew. A room in a shared house, a studio flat, a sofa bought online, the contents of a small storage unit, a load of boxes to a family member across London: these need a van, someone who knows how to load it, and a price that reflects the fact it is a couple of hours' work rather than a day.

  • Studio and one-bedroom flats with straightforward access
  • Student and house-share moves
  • Collecting furniture or appliances you have bought

Removals

Packing service

Full or partial packing of your home or office before the move, using proper materials, by the crew who then load it.

Packing is the part of a move most people underestimate. A two-bedroom home is typically dozens of boxes, and a kitchen alone can take a full day if every glass is wrapped as it should be. Left to the night before, it is why so many moves start late and end with things broken.

  • Anyone short of time before a move
  • Kitchens, glassware, artwork and collections that need proper wrapping
  • Larger homes where packing yourself would take a week of evenings

Removals

Single item and furniture delivery

Collection and delivery of individual items — furniture, appliances, marketplace purchases, heavy or awkward pieces — locally and across the UK.

A single item is often harder to move than a van full of boxes. A three-seater sofa has to make the turn on the stairs; an American fridge freezer has to be kept upright and strapped; an upright piano weighs as much as a small car and cannot be tilted. These are two-person jobs with the right equipment, not a favour with a hatchback.

  • Marketplace and auction purchases that need collecting
  • Sofas, beds, wardrobes, tables and appliances
  • Heavy or awkward pieces: pianos, safes, gym equipment

Freight

Goods on the right vehicle: dedicated, same-day, planned nationwide, palletised, multi-drop and contracted.

Freight

Dedicated van and truck

A van or truck booked solely for your consignment, collected and delivered direct without transhipment or other customers' goods.

Dedicated transport means the vehicle carries only your consignment. It is collected when you say, driven directly to the delivery point and unloaded, with the same driver throughout. Nothing is transferred through a depot, nothing is consolidated with another customer's goods, and nothing waits for a route to fill.

  • Time-critical consignments that cannot wait for a shared route
  • Fragile, high-value or confidential goods
  • Loads too large or awkward for parcel or pallet networks

Freight

Same-day freight

Urgent collection and direct delivery of goods within London and across the UK on the day you book, on a vehicle dedicated to your consignment.

Same-day freight exists for the situations where the cost of waiting is higher than the cost of a vehicle: a production line stopped for a part, a contract that needs a signed original, stock that has to be on a shelf before opening, equipment that a crew on site cannot work without. The request usually arrives by phone or a hurried form, and the answer has to be quick and honest.

  • Parts, tools and consumables for stopped production or site work
  • Documents and originals that must be signed for the same day
  • Stock shortfalls, event supplies and last-minute display material

Freight

Nationwide distribution

Planned road freight from London to every part of England, Scotland and Wales: regular runs, scheduled deliveries and one-off consignments on the right vehicle.

Ilford sits at the junction of the A12, the A406 and the M11, twenty minutes from the M25 and the Dartford Crossing. From here the motorway corridors reach every part of the country, which is why a base in East London is a practical place to run nationwide freight from rather than simply a place to collect from.

  • Manufacturers and workshops delivering finished items to buyers

Freight

Pallet delivery

Collection and delivery of palletised goods on our own tail-lift vehicles, from a single pallet to a full load, without a network hub in between.

Pallet networks are built around hubs: your pallet is collected, driven to a depot, trans-shipped overnight and delivered by a different vehicle. That works for volume, but every transfer is a chance for damage or delay, and it is the wrong tool for a single fragile pallet, a delivery to a residential street or a site with a tight slot.

  • Single pallets and part loads that should not go through a hub
  • Deliveries to homes and sites without a forklift
  • Fragile, oversized or high-value palletised goods

Freight

Multi-drop delivery

A vehicle loaded with several consignments for several addresses, delivered in a planned sequence on the same day, with proof of delivery at each.

Multi-drop is the right service when one customer has several deliveries to make on the same day: a wholesaler sending orders to a dozen shops, a manufacturer delivering to sites around London, a business sending equipment to branches, or a caterer with fixed drop times. One vehicle, one driver, a planned sequence of stops.

  • Wholesalers and suppliers delivering to several retail customers
  • Businesses sending goods to branches or sites in one day
  • Event and exhibition deliveries to multiple venues

Freight

Business contract work

Scheduled removals and freight for businesses that move goods regularly: fixed days, known vehicles, agreed rates and a single monthly invoice.

Businesses that move goods every week do not want to request a quote every week. They want a carrier who knows their sites, their products and their paperwork, turns up on the agreed day, and sends one invoice a month that matches the rate card. Contract work is that arrangement.

  • Wholesalers, manufacturers and workshops with regular outbound deliveries
  • Retailers and online sellers moving stock between sites
  • Facilities and property businesses with recurring furniture moves
